MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATION

The path that lead Fipa ltaliana Yachts to gain a primary position in the panorama of the international pleasure yachting, began in the 1970's with production of the first fiberglass motoryachts, a material that was still too innovative for most of the builders at that period. In the 1980's Fipa Italiana Yachts obtained the control of the Maiora brand, that was already symbol of amazing workmanship in craft, that found in the Fipa shipyards a reach soil for development and of a more and more meticulous search for perfection. At the beginning of 1990's, Fipa acquired the historic shipyard Intermare located in the Darsena of Viareggio, a town where sea and yachting speak the same language. This allowed the Group to offer specialized mechanical assistance, stain-less steel works, teak works and docks that are at the shipyards' disposal to carry out final trials before delivery, maintenance works and refitting in general. In the new millennium, Fipa group recognizes in the shipyard AB Yachts - a leader in the planning and construction of fast open motoryachts with waterjets - one of the natural elements of its range. With this acquisition, they begin renewal of models and widen produc-tion.

In the first years of the third millennium the market shows to demand bigger and bigger yachts more and more customized, for this reason Fipa begins to produce motoryachts from 30 to 45 meters in the new facilities in Massa, where thanks to important covered and uncov-ered areas they reach an annual production of 40 units, concentrating production of metal motoryachts in the new production areas on the seaside in the port of Viareggio. Then with the acquisition of the shipyard CBI Navi, they enlarge the production areas up to a total of 200.000 sqmt. The passion in construction of motoryachts has always pushed the Fipa Group to collect - and always win - the challenges for the production of bigger and bigger yachts for more and more demanding clients. At the moment Fipa Group can offer custom and semi-custom fiberglass motoryachts up to 60 mt, steel and light alloy motoryachts up to 80 mt, open motoryachts up to 60 mt, and all the services related to what yacht-ing continually needs, always of the top quality.

The Maiora 20-205 is the smallest of the family of yachts offered by the Maiora shipyard. A family of which this 20 meter yacht seems proud to belong to as judged by its similarity to the other larger yachts. This is a yacht known for its practicality and efficiency, but not least for its style, elegance and power. It is conceived to be at the peak of its category, with a perfect union of refined modern and classic lines. This yacht reflects the lines that characterise the FIPA style: wide windows that give the profile an unparalleled line and provide ample internal light and a panoramic fly bridge for those who wish to enjoy the sea to the maximum. The sturdy pronounced V-shaped hull instils confidence in cutting throu-gh the waves and this is associated with the new MTU COMMON RAIL engine. The desire for simplicity is obvious: the clean bow, the windshield consisting of a single window of outstanding lines and the deck house towards the stern. The upper bridge offers a fly with modern curved lines that surface parti-cularly observing the form of the roll bar. The fly, together with the sun deck, represent an area of pure relaxation thanks to the careful and flexi-ble attention to detail, all in the name of absolute comfort.

The space was studied to take advantage of every last millimetre; the cockpit is the ideal spot to spend pleasant evenings in company. On the Maiora 20s, with dream views, the lengthened transom allows for direct contact with the sea, transforming itself into an island where the desire to cool down, dive into the water and play reign. In spite of the small dimensions, the technical contents stand out with arrogance. In fact, with half load, it will reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots. The nearly 7,000 litres of fuel guarantee unparalleled autonomy.

The fly is by far the main point of the external beauty of the Maoira 20s. Accessorised with furnishings that determine its undisputed style, the fly allows for moments of pleasant relaxation in the open air in the company of one's most exclusive guests. Although of smaller proportions, the Fipa designers were not deterred and craftily achieved a complete and impeccable area. The extendable divan capable of accommodating up to 8 people as a sunning area and a small table and chairs contribute to the style and comfort of this small jewel.

For many years the Fipa group has been translating the design trends to the interior of its boats, trying to optimize the liveability of the interior spaces, whilst remaining at the forefront. The unmistakable style strongly characterizes not only the exterior, but also the interior areas, which are always refined and exclusive, expressions of the business culture and prestige that distinguishes the brand. The requirements and the precise demands of the ship owner are analysed and respected, reinventing the environments, paying attention to every detail and customizing the finishing touches. For this reason, no two boats are identical because every environment must be unique, reflecting the taste of the people who inhabit it. The furnishings are realised with top quality wood that brings a softness and elegance to the atmosphere, and so creates a harmonious contrast with the marbles that enrich the heads. All furnishings are created by skilful craftsmen, who create a refined style, adapting it to the requirements of navigation. The architects take care to organize the habitable areas of the yachts to satisfy even the most demanding of customers. Every environment is furnished with taste and refinement, every detail is perfect, and every space adheres to the guidelines that characterize the yacht giving it harmony and passion. The strength of the Maiora yachts is represented by the craftsman's attention to details and the desire to create unique pieces.

In classical, modern or retro style, the living area is a neutral space, which can change to meet any requirement of the owner. Everything is customisable from the furnishings to the size of the systems and the finishing’s. In an unconventional manner there is no wall or divider separating the dining area from the seating area. The large wrap-around divan creates an area for socializing, on the opposite side is the dining table, which, thanks to its careful design, seems to become a fully integral part of the living area. Maximum attention has been paid to detail such as soft divans in leather with cushions, which add a touch of colour to the room. Internally the Maiora 20s guarantees real comfort because everything has been scrupulously planned and nothing has been left to chance. The salon, which is light and spacious, offers a warm welcome to your guests in a truly relaxing environment.
Thanks to its wraparound design, all instruments are within arms reach whilst at the wheel. It comes equipped with a pilot's seat in leather, a charting table with a nautical map drawer and every type of technological instrument.

The galley is the environment that most deserves special attention. No longer is the galley considered just the place where food is prepared. Today the galley is a flexible space full of new conceptions in design. It may be functional like a laboratory but at the same time can transform to a place of dreams because, as we all know, it's an integral part of the home environment. The galley of the Maiora 20s is divided into blocks, which contain internal drawers for storing dishes. There is an island dedicated to fire with a top brand glass-ceramic cook top, and an island dedicated to water with the sink and drying area and a fitted hidden dishwasher. LCD screens and any other type of further amenity complete only some of the comforts that this boat is able to offer.

The cabins were designed not only as places for sleeping but also as gracious living areas, with divans and small tables and chairs which allow these areas to be used as living areas, naturally with complete discretion. These areas are enriched with an array of accessories ranging from television and Hi-Fi, to navigational equipment, to furnishing accessories aimed at offering a unique and comfortable experience on board. The highlight of these areas is always the large multiform beds chosen for maximum comfort. Even the choice of details reflects the careful planning such as walls in a variety of colours, padded headboards, crystal module cupboards, and leather coverings.
This room has been transformed from a purely functional area to a room with dignity equal to all others. It offers elegant and contemporary surfaces, shimmering and bright tones, desire to be different, style, comfort and practicality, all without forfeiting luxury and refinement. An ever-rational environment, nonetheless able to trigger strong emotion, which is furnished with varied tones and materials because, as we all know, every room is a reflection of the owners taste.
